Almost time...!
The countdown is on...only 13 days! No silly, I'm not talking about Valentine's Day, I'm talking about baseball spring training! I love it. All of our favorite Cards will be returning to defend their title. Well, I mean a lot has to happen until Red October happens again (hopefully). But, if the Cards are right, (get it?) they will be headed that way soon.
Although we've lost a few players that helped bring us the World Series Title in 2006 we still have the golden keys...Carpenter, Pujols, Rolen, Eikstein...they're all in there! Goodbye to Weaver and Suppan, but Hello to great players that make our team great!
They'll be reporting to practice on the 14th, then spring training games start in March, with an Opening Day set for early April. I can't wait...almost there!

I'll miss Suppan- what about Jim Edmonds, will he still be there or is he retiring?
He's my fave!

My friend, ya, I'll miss Suppan as well. However, Jim Edmonds will be playing the outfeild for two more years with the Cards! I don't remember how much he'll be making, but it wasn't a small amount of money...in fact, he'll probably retire with the Cards! Good times!
