Operacion Triunfo!

So I was bored and thus decided to watch YouTube one night and came across a beautiful gem along the way...Operacion Triunfo de Espana. It's a lot like American Idol except with perfomances that are filled with an amount of passion that only Spaniards could provide. When I lived in Zaragoza my American friends would get together and watch. Every Monday night we would wonder who was going to do really well and who was going to bite it. It's funny how much we got into it all. The program lasted 2 and a half hours...but was so much fun. We would laugh as the back-up dancers/singers would add so much intensity to the whole thing...I must say, they are quite comical. The show was so popular that when it got down to the final 3, more Spaniards watched it then the last time Spain was in the finals for the World Cup! That's saying something people. Anyway, I hope you enjoy a performance from one of our favorites...Dani Ubeda. Sit back and enjoy the wonder of it all...oh ya, and don't forget to keep an eye on those incredible back-up singers/dancers!
