Nathan's Top Ten Singles of the Year: #6
#6: The Way I Are by Timbaland
I love this song because Timbaland managed to mix both Hip-Hop and Eurotrashy Electronic. The beat and track to this song makes you move! I found this song to be refreshing on the hip-hop side of things...why? Timbaland actually has something to say that's doesn't involve Crystal, benjamins, and/or 'big-booty' women. Seeing as how Timbaland was the producer of the year and had a few hit songs, not to mention a #1 album, I figured I had to put something of his on the list.
You got to see this guy's moves. He's incredible! Hope you enjoy!

Check this one out! I think Timbaland is quite gifted. I don't agree with the lyrics to his "too late" song, but musically I think it’s beautiful.

And yeah that guy CAN dance. He's defiantly had a hip-hop class or two.

This song is catchy and has a great beat, but I can't really get past the gratuitous use of bad grammar. I would understand if the word "am" had more syllables than the word "are." It just seems as though the bad grammar is used as an attempt to be edgy, but it just comes off as lazy to me.

Fair enough. I hear what you sayin.' Howev, I'm not sure you get what us was goin' for. He's so edgy.
