Fast Food Commercials. What The...?

wendytree_2.jpg

Is anybody as annoyed by the new characters that Wendy's and Burger King have put out in the past year or so? I'm not sure who they think they're attracting. It seems like they're trying to reach the YouTube generation in that they're suppose to be funny and ironic, but they're as stupid as could be...and the Burger King dude is particulary wierd. I've got serious beef with these people.

Jacob cracks up when he sees The King--not sure why. Personally, The King creeps me out. Now, as far as Wendy's mascot, I just don't get why a guy dressing-up like Wendy is funny. Maybe if he did a girl's voice and responded with Wendyesque comments, but a costume doesn't work if the material doesn't coincide.
I was half expecting that you were going to comment on the Jack in the Box commercials. Those are so hokey.

I actually love the Jack in the Box commercials...those are my kind of hokey. They fit the resturant. Wendys' commericials are by far worse than Burger King's! Just stupid...ya know?

I must say that I rather like the Jack in the Box commericals too. The current garge sale one is quite good.
