American Idol

I just watched yet another incredibly cheesy collective performance by the final 11. A few questions come to mind.

1. Why did they do another week of the Beatles? Have they not figured out that the idols can't do Lennon and McCartney?
2. Was Jason Castro stoned last night?
3. Does anyone else think Jason Castro is the biggest sell-out? Dude...dredlocks AND American Idol. Really? (You can probably tell that he's my favorite)
4. Why did Brooke White sing a song with the words, "do-n-do-do?"
5. Why do they have to make those Ford commercials? They're painful.
6. Could Brooke White be any more perfect? I love her.
7. Has no one told Ryan Seacrest that feauxhawks were cool about 5 years ago? Oh wait, I'm sorry, they were never cool.

My final question is for Amanda Overmeyer:

Do you know that just because you sang a song entitled,"Back in the USSR," doesn't mean that you have to shout loud enough for all of Boris Yeltsin's family to hear the performance?
